Greener Impact International (GII) is a Ghanaian registered Non-Governmental Organization committed to tackling the most pressing challenges of our time: climate change and biodiversity loss. At GII we work on the frontline, implementing practical solutions and advocating for evidence-based climate policies. We are in special consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UNECOSOC). We are also accredited with the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC)

Mission

To mobilize youth, communities, and businesses to take meaningful action in the fight against climate change. We are driven by a sense of urgency, a commitment to science, a deep understanding of threats of climate change and a resolute belief in the power of collective action.

A world where carbon emissions are drastically reduced, where ecological systems are protected, and where every individual and organization take responsibility for their carbon footprint.

Environmental Education

Advocacy and Policy Influence

We advocate for evidence-based climate policies by engaging policymakers at the national, regional and global level to champion initiatives that will make a significant difference in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and building climate resilience. Ecological Restoration and Wildlife Conservation

Our restoration works encompass a wide range of ecosystems, including forests, wetlands, grasslands, rivers, and coastal areas leveraging on the unique and diverse expertise of our team. Our conservation actions are focused on marine turtles and migratory birds as we work with coastal communities to protect and restore their habitats.

Sustainable Agriculture and Food Security

Agriculture is an essential driver of rural economy. At GII, we prioritize the well-being of farmers, providing them with the knowledge, tools, and resources they need to transition to sustainable practices and improve their livelihoods.
