Ahead of the 4th session of the Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee INC 4, to develop an international legally binding instrument on plastic pollution, including in the marine environment, to be held later this month in Ottawa, we have developed an article to help our piece to provide some background about this UN led process.
This study was conducted by Greener Impact International with Funding from the Clean Air Task Force (CATF) and this is part of a partnership between GII and CATF to promote awareness and action against methane emission in Ghana. The outcome of the study is expected to inform Ghana’s policy action against methane particularly in the waste and agriculture sectors. It is also expected to serve as a baseline for NGOs, CSOs and relevant stakeholders to enhance their actions against methane emission in Ghana.
The conference targeted Students, Bloggers, YouTubers, journalists, young leaders and many more who are active in social movements as well as community organizations, and are currently actively promoting one or more of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Resource persons and facilitators were drawn from government, research, academia, civil society and the private sector.
